Acting as a catalyst for experimentation in the world of housing is the aim of “Housing the Human”, an international organization supported by the Zukunft Bau Innovation Program of the Federal Institute for Building, Urban Affairs and Spatial Development Research within the German Federal Office for Building and Regional Planning (BBR).
Throughout one year, the platform selects a group of architects, designers and artists to explore how we will live in the future from a social, ecological or aesthetic perspective, among other points of view. As a result of this process, the professionals who participate in the project develop prototypes that propose new frameworks for human coexistence.
