TED Talk | Trish Becker-Hafnor
Cohousing as the future for the community and for human connection
The benefits of collaborative housing, compiled in a documentary
The Meanings of Home
11/01/21

In less than 15 minutes, Trish Becker-Hafnor makes an argued defense, based on her personal and professional experience, about the benefits of cohousing, which in her opinion is also an option for the elderly.
Trish is the owner of StorySpring Consulting and Director of Community Engagement at the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Social Work.
In her talk she argues that we humans are meant to be connected and living in a community and that intergenerational community life offers an alternative to our increasingly isolated world, focused on screens and home-based individualism. Trish also supports the search of affordable housing solutions for the entire population.
