On the Move
We are planet on the move. Globalisation and technology has made it possible to work, holiday and indeed live just about anywhere in the world. Forced displacement through war and famine displaced 67 million people in 2017 according to the UNHCR, and investment in sustainable transportation, cleaner and more efficient public transport are facilitating greater mobility in cities. In the developed world at least, we are no longer shackled to the concept of owning an automobile, and architects and city planners are responding with urban layouts and infrastructure that encourages foot, bicycle and more energy-efficient traffic.
