Short film: Subversive Architects
A short film by the Office for Subversive Architecture reimagines an abandoned area of London
Book: Situaciones Urbanas / Santi Cirugeda
- Updated Inspiration
This short movie created by the Office for Subversive Arhictecture (OSA) and filmed by Optimistic Productions and Fulcrum tv, addresses the way people interact with an urban public space in London that has become neglected and overlooked because of recent changes of the city. By creating a representation of a kind of “dream-house” image, they stimulate the collective imagery and recall histories and structures of that forgotten site to reveal its inner potential for future development. The film makers also outline how their “guerrilla architecture” has not destructive or merely esthetic aims, but might have practical results and constructive effects on the community.
