The Gulf Region is very aware of the changes taking place in the retail world. According to a study by Euromonitor Internacional, published at the end of 2018, it is expected that retail revenues will increase 24 million dollars in the area over the next five years. The ranking is led by the United Arab Emirates, with a growth rate of 16 percent. While sales in physical stores will continue to dominate the sector, online commerce will grow at a fast rate, with an increase of 78 percent between 2018 and 2023.

With the aim of facing these immediate challenges, The Retail Summit will be held in Dubai on 13 and 14 February. A new generation of professionals will meet up, representing the most pioneering technology and exemplary sales service in the sector.Participation from CEOs of important multinationals also forms part of the summit’s content. Among the most prestigious include Sir Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin group; Hamad Buamin, president and CEO of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Dubai, and Huda Kattan, one of the most successful young entrepreneurs in the cosmetics industry. Also confirmed are executives of high calibre companies such as Lego, Moleskine and Hema.
