Founded by Danish Ole Kassow, “Cycling Without Age” is an initiative that gives senior citizens the opportunity to get out of nursing homes and experience the city and the nature by rickshaw. It all started when Kassow began offering free bike rides to the local nursing home residents back in 2012. Since then, the organization has spread to over 35 countries around the world, not only strengthening communities across generations, but also contributing to both physical and mental well-being of the elderly and volunteers, promoting health, mobility and connection to the wider community.
