Rogier van der Heide
Schaan, LiechtensteinRogier van der Heide has been a lighting designer for 30 years. Known to deliver large projects with a keen eye on simplicity yet a strong expression, his projects include the Olympic Games, large urban settings, luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton and Prada, retail such as the Apple Stores, and museums such as the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. He is also the founder of the Amsterdam Light Festival, a unique celebration of light art that attracts over one million visitors each year. A characteristic of his work is its multidisciplinary character, its emotional value, and the way it speaks in a language understandable to all. That is where he finds joy working on his projects.
