Sebastián López Brach is a photographer and visual artist. His work always connects the relationship between human beings and the natural territory they inhabit. In 2019 and 2020, he received the Early Career Grant from National Geographic to investigate the environmental and cultural importance of the most extensive wetlands in Latin America. He also received the COVID-19 Emergency Fund from National Geographic to work on the impact of the pandemic and the historical decline of the Paraná River with local communities. Among other national and international recognitions, his work has been exhibited at the Guggenheim Museum in New York, awarded by POYLatam, and published in media such as The New York Times, Time, National Geographic, Bloomberg, The Washington Post, El País, GatoPardo or American Quarterly.
