Mónica Gutiérrez
Madrid, SpainMónica Gutiérrez studied Environmental Sciences and, subsequently, two master’s degrees, one in International Cooperation and one in Cultural Project Management. At the same time, she entered the cultural world through music, founding Fikasound (cultural association to promote Swedish music in Spain) and as part of the Mary Muffins DJs collective. She has been part of the Basurama collective for the past ten years, focusing her work and action on waste, the city, and the complex processes that coexist in it, carrying out social transformation projects through art. She loves swimming, jam, and broccoli.
