Kelly Alvarez Doran leads MASS Design Group's London office, overseeing the work in Europe, West Africa, and Global Business Development. Now a Senior Principal, he joined MASS in 2014 to lead the Kigali office and he has directed the design and implementation of projects across East Africa—including the award-winning Munini District Hospital and Rwanda Ministry of Health's Typical Hospital Plans; headquarters for both One Acre Fund and Andela in Kenya; and the Rwanda Institute for Conservation Agriculture. He received the Canada Council's Prix de Rome for Emerging Practitioners and has held an adjunct professorship at the University of Waterloo and a visiting lectureship at the GSD of Harvard University.
