Marta Delgado is an artist, researcher, communicator and architect educated in Barcelona (UIC Barcelona School of Architecture) and Zurich (ETH). In 2015 she founded a platform to discuss how architecture has an impact on people, Archiimpact. She continued studying a postgraduate degree in health and habitat balance in Barcelona and a Master’s degree of research at Berkeley University, California, thanks to the La Caixa grant for postgraduate studies in the United States. Her goals are to understand the neurobiological human nature involved in the emotional relationship with the environment and to promote architectural and artistic criteria and practices that improve the health and wellbeing of people. Her master’s final research focused on the experience of home and its effect on health with the aim of developing housing criteria for populations displaced by natural disasters.
